At the Vampire Lestat panel at San Diego Comic Con, it was announced that the series, originally titled Interview with the Vampire, was renewed for a season four and would now be called The Queen of the Damned, the third book Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles series.

What would season five be called? If the Queen of The Damned on take one season to tell, it would be The Tale of the Body Thief and tell Lestat’s story of trying to connect to his humanity. The president of AMC Studios already said the network was interested in doing the show to at least season five so this looks promising.
