After Grammy wins, Chance The Rapper announces Spring 2017 tour

On Sunday, Chance The Rapper made Grammy history with his win for Best Rap Album with Coloring Book, being the first album that was only available for streaming to win a Grammy. He also won best New Artist and Best Rap Performance for”No Problem.”

After the historic win, he announced a Spring tour, with dates from April to June, and also an October date in Los Angeles.

Notably missing is Chance’s hometown, Chicago. While this might be surprising, Chance’s last two tour initially didn’t include Chicago dates.  He eventually did a show at Reaction;s New Years Eve 2015 and then had Magnificent Coloring Day in 2016.

My guess is that he is going to have another Magnificent Coloring Day this summer and/or he will be headlining Lollapalooza, which is in Chicago.  Chance isn’t just going to have some casual show in his hometown, it is going to be a big event.

Check out the confirmed tour dates below and his Grammy performance of “How Great/All We Got”
