My motivational track of 2020. This song gets me going and ready to hustle. Very excited for Certified Lover Boy, even with the title.
BLACKPINK with Selena Gomez-“Ice Cream”
I’m not a huge K-Pop Stan, but for some reason I just found this song to be so much fun. It very catchy and definitely made me want to explore the genre even more.
Cardi B ft Megan Thee Stallion-“WAP”
Such a controversial song and video, but if you look past it and just listen to the song, Megan really showed she is a force to be reckoned with.
Taylor Swift-“the 1”
My favorite song from the sister folklore/evermore 2020 Taylor Swift cottagecore movement. A mix of melancholy, maturity, and moving on. :::Chef kiss::
Sir-“John Redcorn” music video
While this song came out in 2019, the music video was released in 2020. While a lot of animated videos came out in 2020 because of COVID, the video was purposely animated. I loved how this song connected to it ‘King of The Hill’ roots perfectly.
Lil Dicky-“‘Dave’ Season 1 finale freestyle”
One of the best endings of a show I’ve ever seen. With this episode starting with the song “Jail,” I wasn’t hopeful for the season finale. But this freestyle was the best ending of the episode and Lil’ Dicky’s best song. With this show, I started as a non-fan, to a hesitant fan, to an all out stand of Lil Dicky’s, or at the very least this show.
